I had the lasagna and it was the size of two hands! Good hearty portion full of cheese, and ricotta cheese and pasta. Very good. They only serve soda drinks or water but the food was good like I said and the ambiance inside is casual and cool. The restaurant is pretty big and opened so I felt relaxed and calm. The seats are comfy too.

Great deli. Quality meats, delicious breads, killer pickles. The chicken and potato kinish is the best I've had in years, seriously try the kinish.
Charming staff. Gonna go back and try more of the delicious fare. -

Walking into this place I was totally not impressed. It looked dirty and cheap. I don't know how anyone in their right mind brags about this pre-packaged food that they microwave before they serve it to you. Disgraceful.

Cousins is a really fun place to hang out . The people who work there are always welcoming and make you feel at home . It's busy often but not annoyingly loud like a lot of other places, has a nice buzz on Friday nights . The bar selection is small but charming and it's cool how big the menu is given the size of the kitchen. I've had many a knish there and their club sandwich is perfect . They also have cucumber water for whoever wants which is rare to find . I've always been meaning to go with a group to their New Years party which looks like a lot of fun . Maybe this year!

A pitcher of local brew with a bitter moldy taste will cost you $16, and you can get some soggy (previously frozen?) microwaved knishes or samosas for $3 each.
This place is neither a deli or lounge, it's a café.
The quality of service completely depends on how well you know whoever is working when you are there. And if a 40-year-old guy doesn't hit on your girlfriend while spilling your beer; you don't get asked by four people for a cigarette and/or you don't get overcharged on your beer receipt, you can count that evening as 'a-okay' at Cousin's.
